Cooking for Middle Schoolers program at Cedar Circle Farm.
Learn to cook in our ever-changing dietary world. Mondays, November 11-December 16 from 3:30-5:15.
Cost: $150 for the 6-week session
As food sensitivities seem to be on the rise, we’ll be experimenting with alternatives to some of our favorite dishes. Middle school chefs will gain confidence in the kitchen by cooking main courses, baking desserts, and putting together snacks. We’ll use farm-fresh ingredients and will incorporate ones that are free from gluten, dairy, nuts, eggs, etc. Please note that all cooking projects during this session will be gluten-free, and students will also learn how to cook for a variety of dietary restrictions throughout the session. Support the HHS Musical
This year's High School musical, SHREK, demands a large orchestra. To offset costs, the theatre program has organized a Musical Theater Benefit Gala. Please join us for a formal evening of musical theatre, support the program, and hear our students and singers from the Northern Stage’s Bootcamp perform. We will even have some cameos from select staff members. Our own Lily Hochreiter will be in the closing number!
Date: Fri. Dec.6
Place: Briggs Opera House, WRJ VT https://m.bpt.me/event/4423074
Christmas Market with a Difference
The program is returning for its 30th year at Church of Christ at Dartmouth College (that's the white church with the steeple behind Baker-Berry Library on campus)
Thursday November 7, 10am–6pm
Friday November 8, 10am–6pm
Saturday November 9, 10am–2pm.
Twenty nonprofit organizations will be selling fair trade, handcrafted items made by artisans from around the world. The "difference" is that 100% of the proceeds go to the participating charitable organizations and their artisans. You can find jewelry, apparel, linens, baskets, toys, cards, specialty foods, and lots more. It's a great way to make a positive impact in the world...through shopping!
