Come join in all types of winter fun tomorrow on the Norwich Green. Help celebrate the community in an authentic northern New England way. Full Schedule of events here.
Friday, March 6th, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
All teens 12-18 are invited to the library to watch a movie, play board and card games, listen to music, eat pizza. These special evening hours will take place on the first Fridays of March and April and are just for teens.
Please try to give us a head’s up that you’re interested in attending by emailing Roger at roger.arnold@norwichlibrary.
Monday, March 16th, 5:00 - 6:00 pm All teens of Norwich are invited to an informational meeting to learn more about a Norwich Youth Advisory Council. This teen-led Council will be tasked with shining a light on what Norwich can do to involve teenagers in town. Do you want more planned activities? A dedicated space? Just to be left alone? We want to hear it all! Representatives from the library, the Recreation Department, and other community organizations will be on deck to listen to your ideas and help support your decisions. Pizza and snacks will be served.
For more information, please contact Brie Swenson at email@example.com
These programs are parts of a Prevention Network Grant funded through Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center and the Vermont Department of Health.
Do you have any old or unused bikes gathering dust? The Bike Rehab for the Greater Good March Intensive group at Hanover High School is looking for used bikes in need of TLC to fix up and give to folks who need transportation, including: kids bikes, mountain bikes, and road bikes. Bikes can be in poor condition, but should be fairly good quality to start so we have good components with which to work.
We are collecting bikes now until the course starts March 10th. Please contact Deb Robinson at HHS if you have a bike to donate to arrange drop off.
Thanks for your generosity,
Deb Robinson and Coyote Hill/ Bike Rehab for the Greater Good
