The Frances C. Richmond Middle School is contacted by local businesses and non-profits to make our parents aware of upcoming opportunities. We publish information that directly supports or enhances our grade 6-8 population. Please note that these are not school sponsored events.
The Christmas Mystery
Come witness one of the longest running pageants in the country. In its 103rd year, this retelling of the Nativity story features Hanover High School seniors (and one alumna), as well as community members. Bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to the Upper Valley Haven and LISTEN. Enjoy the music and community.
Holiday Sale to Benefit the Haven
Saturday, December 14th at the Marion Cross School in Norwich from 9:00-3:00.
Come shop local artisans as a part of the 7th year of the '19 Days' initiative. You can support the work of both local artisans and The Upper Valley Haven through holiday shopping. All monies raised for The Haven through this event are subject to matching funds from the Byrne Foundation up to $125k. More information here.

New Holiday Tradition at Northern Stage
With the new year right around the corner, Northern Stage will be having its first-ever First Night Family Celebration on New Year’s Eve. It’s going to be a special night featuring the cast of The Sound of Music, full of sing-a-longs, cocoa and cookies, and a toast to everything our community has accomplished in 2019. There’s nothing better than coming together with friends and family to close out the year. Here’s the information:

Research Opportunities in Virtual Reality
Labs are Dartmouth are looking for middle school students to participate in a behavioral study about visual perception. Using virtual reality, subjects will be asked to complete visual puzzles and tasks. The study lasts for 2 hours, and you will receive $15/hour for your participation. See more information here:
