December Break: We hope you have a restful and relaxing December Break full of playtime, downtime, and family time. We have made these breaks homework-free for many years now at RMS and the response is always positive. This can also be a time when students who are behind can get caught up or when students might choose to explore, tinker, and learn about a topic of their choosing. However you spend the time, I hope all of our RMS families have a great week.
RMS Principal Search Committee: We are looking for parent representatives to serve on the plenary committee. Please contact Superintendent Dr. Jay Badams if you are interested (email: jaybadams@

RMS Notes and Information
-RMS 8th grade families and staff collected 228 pounds of food for The Haven this week as part of their Wednesday Waffle event. Thank you for the contributions!
-RMS Security Upgrades: We are nearing the completion of some facility upgrades to our access control and surveillance capabilities. Accordingly, we expect that beginning in January our front entrance will be locked and visitors will need to be remotely buzzed-in via an intercom system. We understand this is a significant change and will communicate additional details in the coming weeks. This work was recommended by New Hampshire Homeland Security and supported by a state safety grant.
