Community takes many shapes at RMS.  This past week we celebrated with our Talent show on Friday night, and Turkey Bowl on Monday afternoon.  Both events allowed us to share in the camaraderie of working together and succeeding in difficult tasks.  Thank you to all the staff and students who came together to make it work (including students and staff from last year who had moved on, but came back because of the feeling of community RMS instills).  What a great way to start our holiday!

This break is homework free (IF your student is caught up on work.  Students who have make-up work to complete should make good use of the 5 day vacation from school).

When we return we will have a very busy 3 week stretch, full of concerts, bake sales, school projects, and seasonal cheer.  Please take this time to enjoy family, recharge for the month of December, and offer thanks for the great community that is RMS.  Thank you.

Warmly,

Need Ugly Sweaters!

The "Ugly Sweaters" elective is still seeking sweater donations - all sizes and colors.  Ninety students will be creating designs on existing sweaters this quarter!  Please look through your closets. Sweatshirts and fleeces accepted, as well.  Thank you. Sweaters can be sent to the office, we will make sure Ms. Luce gets them.

Volunteer News

We are looking for four parents/guardians to join our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade French classes on a field trip to the HOP at Dartmouth on Friday, December 6th, from 9:30 - 11:45 am. Students and chaperones will enjoy a performance by FLIP Fabrique. Chaperones will meet Kerry Artman in the entryway to the HOP at 9:30; students will arrive shortly after. Volunteers will need to feel comfortable reminding students to behave in a polite, positive, appropriate manner in the audience before, during and after the show, as needed.

If you are interested in chaperoning this field trip, please sign-up here.  Thank you!

New Attendance Email

We are trying to streamline our attendance email, and as a result we have a new email address for absences.  In the future please email: rmsattendance@hanovernorwichschools.org

With any and all attendance issues.  Thank you.
